Wishing you a Merry Merry Christmas

I love Christmas time.

I love that the decorations have gone up in the malls. I can browse forever at ever faithful Woolies, and look at the clever Christmas gift packs they have put together. Cookies in colorful antique decorated tins. Dried fruit in jars decorated with gingham material and satin ribbons. And then the ever magnificent Christmas Tree with lights that shimmer, and the personalized little baubles that hang for years being passed down from generation to generation. I love the absolute commercialism of Christmas, because in it is hidden some little secret message of magic that permeates through what is perceived as plastic and materialistic.

This is why I also love cards. It's simple and passes on a powerful message with words which you edit and create.
